Sketching

We had a lovely lunch at the Woolpack.  Some fascinating characters in the garden enjoying the sun.  Sadly I didn't get a chance to sketch the couple on their tandem

Waiting for the car to get new tyres and have a repair.  Thank goodness for free drinks

I am a massive fan of Suits so while the TV was on pause I did a quick sketch of Louis Litt

Waiting for lunch I drew the beautiful fireplace.  Even though it's August we were wishing the fire was lit.  New Lamy Safari pens arrived today too

I had this page in my book where I had tried out some washi take and a light green wash.  It seemed just right to draw a sleeping pig.  I started with the head too near the top of the page but I still  love it

I have a few sketches in old books but started a new one at the beginning of July when I decided to take it more seriously and join Sketchbook Skool .   I also gained some more enthusiasm by doing a one day course with Basingstoke Art Class on comic book drawing. So here goes, some of my most recent sketches.  I will add some other ones over time.
